Hello! I have a question about doujin.io? I tried using it and though the manga title, status, and web icon show up; I get an error telling me that an account is required to access the content. Is that asking me for an account on the website because I do have one, I just don’t know how I can get the app to register that, or am I being asked to purchase the full version? Just not sure what the error is telling me, apologies if this might be redundant.

I posted it once and I don’t know where it went. I want to buy 1 year but I don’t have paypal or bitcoin, only credit and debit cards. Is there a way?

I replied to the email you sent, but I’ll reply here too just in case!

First of all, thank you for your interest! I’m glad HDoujin Downloader has been useful for you. ❤️

You actually don’t need a PayPal account– Their checkout process can handle credit and debit card payments too. But if that doesn’t work for whatever reason, Skrill, as well as Amazon or Steam gift cards, are also accepted in a pinch.

If none of these options work for you, let me know. I’m willing to accommodate– It’s not my goal to leave people stuck behind a paywall when they truly have no options.

Thanks a lot for your (hypothetical) support!

    Hello
I have a question about lezhinus
I remember that I used to be able to choose the image quality for downloading
    full(q=0)
    default(q=30)
    upscaled(q=40)

I see that the latest version doesn’t have this option.
    Can I ask why?

I don’t actually remember why I got rid of that option, but it might’ve been related some episodes not downloading at certain quality levels. I’ve enabled the option again though, and it seems to be working in my tests.

You should see it the next time you restart HDoujin Downloader!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention– I’ve got a fix ready on my end, and I’ll upload it this weekend. Hang on until then!

Update: This has now been resolved!

Don’t use the web driver solver, because it doesn’t work anymore. Try using the FlareSolverr plugin instead, as described here.

You’ll need to update to the latest pre-release to use it, which you can download here. The FlareSolverr plugin is included with the download. It leverages your existing Google Chrome installation to bypass the challenge, so make sure Chrome is installed and up to date.

Thanks for letting me know! I just uploaded a fix, so it should be working now (make sure you’re using the latest version of FlareSolverr though).

This site is already supported, and seems to be working fine on my end with the latest pre-release.

Try downloading the latest pre-release here, and then downloading the FlareSolverr plugin to get around Cloudflare’s “checking your browser” page. After that, it should work!

I think I’ve been using a very old version for the longest time without issue, but decided to update recently. I primarily download from exhentai.org for galleries that do not have torrents. Once updating to the latest version 2020.8.8.0, I noticed that it will create the folders but never download anything despite the page numbers going up. I do have it checked to generate a text file for any failed pages, but nothing shows up in the folders. The downloads would eventually “complete (some failed)” but it remains 0 KB. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It seems to be working on my end with the latest release and default settings. That’s certainly unusual.

If you generate a log file and send it to me, I’ll check out what’s going on (you can also send me the gallery in question if you want). You can also open the log viewer by going to “Tools > Log Viewer” and see what it says when it tries to download each image, which might shed some light on what’s going wrong.
