Re: Can't update and more hitomi issues

1.) The option to download the new update is greyed out for me This one's not a bug-- It means that you don't have the updater. The updater is a separate application ("updater.exe") included alongside HDoujin Downloader if you use one of the primary download links from the homepage . If you downloa...

Re: Using RSS to download from Deviant

Cool find; I appreciate the amount of detail you've gone into with this. I've implemented this in the latest release as quick workaround to get DeviantArt kinda working again. One caveat, though: The images you get through means won't be at their original size; they're still downscaled a little bit ...

Re: Alot to ask but Please Update soon as possible?

As you might have already noticed, there isn't a new update available yet. Things are taking a bit longer than I had hoped, but I'm actively working on it. I'll keep you posted so you're not left in the dark. What I'm doing right now is trying to clean up the codebase a bit to make the upcoming upda...

Re: Unable to run HD after updating/restarting pc

The output from this particular log file doesn't immediately appear to be related to the problem. Are you able to successfully start the program if you download/extract a fresh copy? If that works, there could be something up with your configuration (config.ini) or something else it's trying to load...

Re: Alot to ask but Please Update soon as possible?

Hey,

I understand, an update is definitely in order-- I'm currently working towards releasing a new update later this week, and move toward regular, weekly updates from thereon out.

There's certainly a lot to be done, but you have to start somewhere!

All the best,

Thanks for letting me know; I've heard the same from a few other users as well. I'll make sure that this is fixed in the next update.

Re: DropBox problems???

This happens a lot; Dropbox has been a less-than-reliable file host. Every time I have to get in contact with support and have them resolve it manually. The Dropbox links should hopefully be working again in a few days. For the time being, you may use the download link from MEGA (it's the same file).

Re: We keep asking but no posted replies???????????

Hey, I've replied here and here . I'm still alive and still reading all messages sent to me, and everything will be addressed in time. For now, I don't have anything new to report that I haven't already said. Unfortunately, life is still keeping me down for the time being. I'm hoping to get back int...

Re: Can download just metadata file(json.file)?

Yes, you can do this. First, add the gallery to the download queue, but don't start it. Right-click the queue item, and then hover over "Save Information". There are two options here. The first option, "Save information to File", allows you to select a destination for the file to be saved. The secon...

Re: Anything to tell us?

Hey, I understand, it has certainly been a while since the last update. As before, I'm still alive, still around, still reading messages. Real life's got me down, but future updates are still planned. I encourage you to continue to email me and let me know what sites aren't working anymore so I can ...
