Module fail to update?????

So what happened to the module update??? It as for Admin but it's not on a main drive system folder so it's not updating?

Still happening in 2024 when you go to update it still ask for Admin but I am login as Admin System so what is going on?

I think you're encountering the issue described here. It's because the extra modules (Kuroneko Reader and Manga Database) are hosted on Google Drive, but after some changes they made a while ago, the updater is unable to download them. The "admin" message you're seeing is just a generic error message; it's not the actual problem here.

I haven't been prioritizing this because I haven't updated those programs in a long time (I've been focusing my efforts primarily on HDoujin Downloader itself).

You can stop seeing this message by unchecking "Update extra modules" under Help > Check for updates.
