With myreadingmanga.info, the manga title all type of information - the author/circle. Is there a way to not include this?
For example, with this link:
https://myreadingmanga.info/yougekishu- ... ed-dj-eng/
The Manga title in HDoujin Downloader will be:
[Yougekishu (Arina Toshimi)] Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj [Eng]
Is there a way for it to be:
Charm - Kidou Senshi
Thank you.

Re: myreadingmanga.info Manga Title
Find-and-replace rules (Settings > Save to > General > Find and Replace) can take care of some of it:
Add a rule with

The hard part is detecting the
Of course, you could remove it explicitly with another find-and-replace rule, but that obviously doesn't solve the problem for all titles. I'm not sure that there's a reliable way to approach this.
Update: I have an idea. The "Filed Under" value could be used to set the "Series" metadata field to "Gundam SEED". Then I could add support for interpolating metadata values into find-and-replace strings, to allow for something like:
which would solve the problem, so long as series information is available and it's not just "Yaoi Manga" or "One-shot". I'll give this some thought.
Add a rule with
\[[^\]]+\]\s*
as the "find" pattern, and check "Enable regex" to go from[Yougekishu (Arina Toshimi)] Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj [Eng]
to
Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj
The hard part is detecting the
Gundam SEED dj
part. The only way I can think to do this is by using the value for the "Filed Under" field, but even then, it's listed as Gundam Seed Destiny dj
as opposed to Gundam SEED dj
. Figuring out which part to cut off in the general case is very difficult to determine. There's the risk of guessing incorrectly and cutting too much off of the title.Of course, you could remove it explicitly with another find-and-replace rule, but that obviously doesn't solve the problem for all titles. Re: myreadingmanga.info Manga Title
Thank you for the quick reply!
But there is a problem with the PAGE NAMING. Using the Find and Replace rule you provided, the manga folder naming is now:
Charm_-_Kidou_Senshi_Gundam_SEED_dj
But the pages are:
[Yougekishu (Arina Toshimi)] Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj [Eng]_0_001
[Yougekishu (Arina Toshimi)] Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj [Eng]_0_002
[Yougekishu (Arina Toshimi)] Charm - Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED dj [Eng]_0_003
Is there a way for the Find and Replace to impact the PAGE NAMING as well?
Where is the "Filed Under" field?
Thanks for looking into this.
UPDATE: Managed to sort this out.I actually have a rule for Find and Replace to turn all spaces into "_"
Therefore when I added the rule "\[[^\]]+\]\s*" it actually turned the replace to:
_Charm_-_Kidou_Senshi_Gundam_SEED_dj
Is it possible to update the rule to remove the "_" at the front as well?
