Image modification size Potrait n Landscape

can you make a different max size(Width n height) for each potrait n landscape thx

i want my potrait page just as size (1)
but if i set max width as (1) landscape image will be too small.

but if i set max width as (2) potrait image with big size will looks too big :"(

manga nowadays pretty big size/quality

*i want to save disk space cuz i dont like that much about manga with too good quality. i only want average
