Not a bug but a conflict, Dropbox while syncing in the background will conflict with HDoujin. Discovered this while attempting to download some files from nhentai. It would close after 10 seconds and only downloaded two folders. After sleeping on it the solution came to me. The only thing different from before was I had resumed using Dropbox to sync some folders. Simple fix, simply paused Dropbox and HDoujin worked like a charm.

Interesting, good work discovering that-- That's quite an odd, obscure connection.

Are any of the folders accessed by HDoujin Downloader (e.g., the folder it's running from, or downloading content to) being synced by Dropbox, or are both their operations completely separate?

Also, depending on how literally you "slept on it", there's a chance it's related to some of the recent antivirus false-positives cropping up over the latest release. I've heard of this sort of situation arising in the past when this happened, with antivirus software spontaneously terminating HDoujin Downloader while it's running. I submitted false-positive reports the other day, so there's a chance that the problem stopped occurring after the program was whitelisted. It's worth considering.
