Exhentai constant error 509: Bandwidth

same here, it's downloading a small bunch of images (5-20) and then error509 appears

Release 2023.11.6.0 was meant to address this along with some other issues. There was a problem with cookies not being sent with some image requests, and I've also updated it to get the new original image URLs. If you have an increased viewing limit on your account, it should take advantage of it, and invalid 509 errors should no longer occur.

One thing I noticed, though, is that the new original image URLs don't seem to take the viewing limit into account at all. I went way over my limit in testing and never got a 509 error from them even when I was getting the same error from resized images. This surprised me, and I may need to modify the 509 detection if they fix that.

Unfortunately I've started getting the infinite 509 errors again and I'm not sure why.

Edit: ... and now it's started working again. I don't really know what's going on or why this keeps happening. I did notice it happens with at least one very specific gallery. I hope this can maybe be useful to Squidy to figure out what's happening.

If original image downloads are enabled (under Tools > Site settings > e-hentai.org > Images) and not being downloaded, it's possible that it's not finding the original image download link. You could verify this by opening the logger under Tools > Log Viewer and then attempting to run the download. It'll show the image URLs that are being downloaded. Let me know what happens.

I'll look into this, thank you. One thing I've noticed is that some images, in some galleries, require GP to download. This could be related, and I need to add some logic to account for it either way. I'll check out the gallery you sent and see if I can reproduce the issue.
