mangadex download consists of different pages from other mangas

Hi,

Sorry to bother you, I'd like to report a bug, specifically on mangadex. A few days ago I downloaded a oneshot file from mangadex and when i open the file, the chapter consists of pages from other mangas, manhwas or doujins and sometimes credit pages. i download a few times afterwards, but the random pages are often not the same as the one i downloaded before. And also, it turns out that the file i downloaded on 15 Feb around noon time (GMT+7) also have random pages mixed in.

attached is the example of the download i just did earlier. some of the random pages are in jpg format, while the actual chapter files are in png.

Same here, and funnily enough i'm getting the same images, almost feels like its some kind of protection because most images are like Yaoi and BL -

I was worried it was a RAM or HDD issue on my end. I'm kinda glad it's happening to everyone, even if it did bork a bunch of my downloads and still is being weird.

This issue was occurring a while back, but had suddenly stopped for a while. I had hoped it would be the end of it, but here we are again. I believe their API is intentionally serving the wrong images to HDoujin Downloader, but it's a lot of trial and error figuring out what triggers it.

I have some ideas, so I'll investigate and see what I can do to resolve it.

You probably already know but the when you check the links in the log file and open them in a browser they come out correct as they should, but somehow HDoujin Downloader gets wrong images in the end.

I've also tried adding the links to another download program called JDownloader 2 and it also downloads the images as they should.

Thirdly i also tried HakuNeko and that one downloads the same manga correctly with no wrong images.

All on the same computer without changing IP or whatever, i also removed my login data from HDoujin Downloader for MangaDex but that did nothing.

It really feels like its targeting HDoujin Downloader

I think it started on the morning of 15 february, so that is a week ago. a file I download on 15 feb at 01.05 am (GMT+7) is still showing the right set of images. but the file that I downloaded on 15 feb 15.40 pm (GMT+7) are showing wrong images. I normally dont check the files since it's a continuing chapter so I thought there's no problem. I only realise it 2 days later when I download a oneshot and it doesn't show the right images. Even downloading multiple times, the random images are always different.
