Weirdly working updates

Post by Ormion » Thu Nov 08, 2018 10:38 pm

Hello!

I think there is a problem with the checking for new chapters option. Not only it is missing many mangas that have updates, for example Tomo-chan wa onna no ko!, Boku no Hero, but it also finds only some chapters, not all that are new : https://mangadex.org/title/20774/bokuta ... ga-dekinai found only chapter 83, not 83 and 84.

Looks like it's picking up the pending uploads again (uploaded "in X days"). These would have been erroneously marked as new chapters the last time you checked the bookmark, so when they finally get uploaded, you aren't notified (at least, that's what I'm assuming is going on).

I'll fix this up with the next update, and you let me know if the issue persists after that.

Unfortunately the error still persists. It still does not detect the bookmark updates. Take a look at this.

According to the program last update was nearly a month ago, yet when we visit the site https://mangadex.org/title/16617/komi-s ... ushou-desu we can see the last update was 4 days ago. It sees the chapters however, when you rightclick the title and click "Select Chapters".
