Re: Scrambled folder names
Could you provide us some links for us to test out? The ones that are currently in the screenshot if possible. It's a bit hard to tell what it's meant to be, as opposed to what it currently is. Also, check the site specific option if you haven't already, it can be found Settings > Downloads> General...

Re: 'Parody' metadata not syncing to Manga DB
The Manga DB module is still essentially in it's infancy. Squidy has mentioned re-writing the module with more up to date code, but time spent on the main program has prevented him doing that just yet. Check out some of my older posts, as I've talked about metadata within MangaDB and hdoujin downloa...

Re: Search function in program
It sounds like the history feature of hdoujin downloader is what you're looking for. You can open the history panel with Ctrl+H. One opened, click on the button on the right of that window to open "History settings". Make sure History is enabled, and you can choose whether to add to history when dow...

Re: Configurations reset every time
I believe it's because you've placed hdoujin downloader in a system folder (C:\Program Files...)
Try running the program as an administrator, or better yet moving it outside of the system folder. That should fix the problem.

Re: won't back up
Where is hdoujin downloader installed? If it's a system directory, you may need special permissions.
Have you tried specifying another location for it to backup to?
If you go to Help > Enable Diagnostics and try to recreate the error, you can post the log here or to Squidy for analysis.

Re: Using Proxy
SOCKS proxies are currently unsupported but you should be able to connect normally using the client your vpn supplies and use the program through that.

Re: More column
There are a few of these options built in, however to access it is a bit tricky at first. Make sure there is something already in the download queue. Just add any random manga if necessary, and then If you right click it and at the bottom go to "Choose Columns" and from there you can add options tha...

Re: Dannbooru
Have you two seen Squidy's post on *booru site implementation? https://doujindownloader.com/faq-can-you-add-support-for-booru/ . In the meantime, there are programs and tampermonkey/greasemonkey scripts out there that specialise in downloading a large quality of images from *booru sites. I personall...

Re: lost everything
That's very strange since H-Doujin Downloader creates a backup every time it upgrades to combat these type of problems. You didn't by any chance move/change directories when installing the newer version? If so, that may prompt the license box again. I would suggest checking your program folder for a...

Re: Kuroneko Reader does not work correctly with network attached storages
Network Attached Storage solutions work fine for me. I have my NAS mapped to a drive and simply load up the drive within Kuroneko Reader. Can you tell us a little more about your setup?
